On November 18 I resigned from REI Systems and began work at a west coast company called Apigee. Apigee has primarily two products, a console that will allow you to query various APIs and an enterprise product that allows you to easily add an API to your legacy data store. I’m basically “The Drupal Guy” and will be working on several projects in house. But what this post is about is the fact that Apigee is a “100% cloud” company. Every product apigee uses is cloud-based. Expensify for expenses, Google Apps for business, The enterprise products we host are on Amazon’s EC2, payroll, health insurance, everything is 100% cloud-based. Coming from multiple traditional corporate gigs, I find this amazing. So i’ve been in the process of “cloud”-ifying my life.
